Hook and Chain
Luc prefers not to get into direct combat, so the 6 ft long chain is more often used to destroy property or is tied to rope to help Luc scale buildings. If the rebel is forced to fight, Luc uses the chain to trip the opponent or strangle them.

Paint Bombs
Typically created by filling balloons, lightbulbs or bottles with paint (and the occasional fire cracker), they are the perfect way to create a quick and messy distraction.

Luc is a naturally friendly and outgoing person that often pokes fun at her team or makes jokes to lighten a serious situation. While she comes off as surprisingly easy going to those that don’t know her, Luc is very passionate in her ideals and will stop at almost nothing to achieve her plans. She isn't afraid of fighting fire with fire, but because of this many feel that her actions can be too extreme. In addition, the hot-headed individual often prefers to think of a plan on the spot and learn by experience rather than spending precious time thinking of a plan that could easily go awry. Despite this, Luc dislikes putting her team in extreme danger unless she's absolutely sure they can handle it and is more likely to risk herself for the cause. She treats her other teammates like family, and would hate to see them get injured for her own personal gain. While Luc comes off as confident, she secretly frets whether she can actually do what she promises. and if others think she is fit for leadership.

HISTORY
"You know, I'm not that interesting. But if you insist..."

"Luc" was raised alongside her older cousin by her aunt and uncle at a very young age. Her grades were average and Luc was a fast learner, but she was prone to arguing with other kids. She'd often get back at other classmates by finding premade scripts online to attack their school laptops. Because of her inexperience, she was caught most of the time and her rank deteriorated. Before her guardians were notified of Luc's troublemaking her cousin intervened, making Luc swear to stop doing such devious things and raise her rank back to an acceptable level. The girl looked up to her cousin, and while she caused less trouble at school, Luc continued learning about coding in her free time through forums.

While the girl was always a bit impulsive, her actions escalated when she found out her cousin had failed her PATs and was forced to join the Reset Tournament. Despite her cousin's death, mourning those who involuntarily participated in the tournament was highly frowned upon in society because they "deserved it." It drove her crazy to see her parents act like nothing happened to their own child to the point where she ran away from home, only taking a small bag with her. She was angry at everything, especially the messed up Rank System. Her cousin was the kindest and hardest working person she knew, if she failed, then who was considered “beneficial” to the country?

The teenager ended up in an alleyway, trying to stay out of the massive downpour that began. By coincidence, a man around the same age decided to hide from the rain in the same area. After a small conversation, it was obvious to the girl that the man was in some sort of trouble. If he was a Glitch, she could possibly be in trouble as well for befriending him. Even if she barely knew them, she couldn't bear to see someone else die from the Tournament. So, she asked the male to team up and help her find a safe pace to rest. With his help, they were able to find an abandoned warehouse.

When exploring their temporary home, Luc stumbled across a hatch which led into a vast system of underground shelters that. It had food, water, tools, electricity-everything to have a great base. The man had similar thoughts.

"You decided to help me without even trying to know my rank, even though you could’ve been deducted if I was a Glitch. You’re either dumb, or sick of this bs system too, right? I have inside knowledge about the military and some of their projects, and I can even recreate some of them with the supplies we found. If we get enough people to support us, we could start a revolution."

He was positively crazy. But...it gave Luc something to believe in again. So she agreed to the plan.

After he created matching helmets for the two of them, they worked to make a name for themselves and their cause. While he created weapons and made quick attacks on their targets, she provided back-up by hacking into security cams or spray painting messages to inspire others to help. After not being caught consecutively, their arrogance grew and it eventually led to a major blunder.

Once they finished most of their preparations to interrupt the Reset Tournament, they both went on a supply run to grab weapons from an armory supplying the Vaolys military. Luc hadn’t turned off all the alarms, and the duo was forced to run from the alerted military police. In the chaos, the pair was forced to split up, and only Luc made it back to their base. Luc was devastated, but she promised to carry out their plan to disrupt the Tournament no matter what.    

While their program to cause a blackout at the games was completed, Luc was unsure where the game’s participants would be held. Needing someone else to help her determine the location and someone who could create weapons like her partner, Luc looked to the Internet.

Finding some people that caught her interest, Luc managed to find their home addresses and pay them a visit and convince them to join the revolution. With their help, the plan to release the Tournament’s participants was successful, and they were able to find another entrance of the vanguard’s base that they were able to escape to.

Pretending to be her partner “Luc”, the vanguard’s leader is determined to finish what she started so no one else is slaughtered for the "good of the country".

RELATIONSHIPS
Luc [MIA]: Former co-leader of the Vanguard. The man who changed her life. She acts like him in hopes she appears more confident and strong than she actually is. 

Erick/Torrent [ALIVE]: Deputy. Admiring his hacking skills, she found his home address and convinced him to join. She tasked him with putting bringing a tracking device into the Tournament. Occassionally tasks him with projects she feels is too boring.
